Stop by the Xavier Zamarippa Gallery on Oak Lawn this Saturday to check out some creative wine decanters made by local artists. David Gappa with Vetro Glass Blowing Studio in Grapevine and Dallas artist Xavier Zamarripa have collaborated to create hand-blown glass decanters accented with unusual treatments such as petrified wood and slabs of stone. You’ll get a second chance to peruse the decanters in Grapevine on April 26 at the Vetro Glassblowing Studio. This show will also feature glass-blowing demonstrations. Xavier Zamarripa Gallery is located at 100 Oak Lawn Avenue at the corner of E. Levee Street. Vetro Glassblowing Studio is located at 701 South Main Street #103. Both events are free and start at 6 p.m.
