I love that Texas Red … What restaurants carry Fuqua’s wines and what foods do you recommend with it?

  • FUQUA Texas Red Wine is available at the Mercury Grill, the Dallas Country Club and at Park Cities Prime Steakhouse, all in Dallas.

It is a very big, rich red wine which goes with any hearty dish made with beef, venison or bison. These can be grilled, broiled, braised or roasted.

It is also in stock and available on our Web site at, here in the tasting room at the winery, Dallas area Sigel’s stores and at Rex’s Seafood Market.

And God said “Somebody call me a Cab” and you pulled up.

This 02 stands on such tall Texas legs it reminds me of some of the deep flavors in the amarones I’ve loved in the past. This is a real companion to a cowboy bone-in rib eye, stilton, or a fine Ecuadorian Corojo Robusto.

the Texas Red is also fantastic…the tempranillo really shines in this vintage…smells like france, tastes like spain…keep those bold Texas reds coming.

  • Congratulations Lee!
I’m heading out to buy a few bottles before they’re all snatched up!

I would put the Texas Red up against any premium tempranillo wine. The cab and franc really polish this wine. The wine is great with hearty meals and I have even enjoyed it with fish. The cab that won the gold speaks for itself. A visit to the winery is a treat and it is located in the heart of Dallas and very accessable.

  • Yes, the winery and tasting room are open every weekend, both Saturday and Sunday from noon until 6:00 p.m. We offer free tastings and you can look around the winery. You can buy our wines there by the bottle or by the case.
