Don’t get me wrong. I love Celebrity Bakery and Cafe. I love the tuna salad, I love the iced tea, and I especially love the frosted cookies. I love its pink-ness. My mom loves the coconut cake and makes me take her there every time she’s in town. But yesterday, Laura and I went there (HPV locale) for a quick lunch, and since it was so nice out, we sat outside.
As we were chatting and eating our salads, we got dive-bombed by pigeons three times. Once on the table, once on my leg (ew ew ew) and once on Laura’s jeans.
Lesson learned–must sit inside or get Celebrity to go. But then I heard this is good luck? (I’ll take some of that!) And then, I wondered how many salads Celebrity has to re-make daily due to pigeon poo? Or worse–how many dry-cleaning bills they have to pay each week (yowza!) Hopefully some Disher out there can tell me…
