Another lovely intern has joined our little D Moms Daily world. Megan Hunt is sussing out all manner of goodness in our fair city, starting with a fantastic event at babyGap next Saturday where I’ll be doing a guest reading. We’d love to see you there! In the meantime, back to Megan, who has the full lowdown.

Do you remember reading Peter Rabbit when you were little? It’s a book that has stayed with me for years. And now a whole new generation of children can fall in love with the beloved character known for sneaking into Mr. McGregor’s garden to eat vegetables. Enter babyGap’s limited edition Peter Rabbit collection in partnership with Beatrix Potter. Think: cozy bunny whisker emblazoned sweaters, soft cotton onesies, and dapper plaids, all worthy of passing on.     Next Saturday, January 26 at 11 a.m. babyGap Northpark is hosting an event to celebrate the collection and benefit the awesome Milk and Bookies, an organization that allows children to write a message on the inside of a book and donate it to children in need.

There will be snacks and fun family activities, and our very own D Moms executive editor Joslyn Taylor will be there reading Peter Rabbit to the kiddos. So browse through your children’s bookshelf this weekend, pull out a few gently used reads to donate to Milk and Bookies, and then head to babyGap NorthPark next Saturday for the festivities.

We can’t wait to meet you!

Megan Hunt is a D Moms intern.
