Waco-based Stellar Service Brands will be moving its corporate headquarters to Uptown Dallas by fall 2022 and into a 60,000-square-foot office building located at 2929 Carlisle Street.

Stellar is a multi-brand residential and commercial service holding company with more than 465 franchise locations across the U.S., including Restoration 1, bluefrog Plumbing + Drain, The Driveway Co., and Softroc.

The company decided on the new location primarily due to access to talent, convenience for franchisees via the proximity to DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field Airport, as well as its available amenities.

Sherry Rose, the chief executive officer at Stellar said: “We at Stellar Service Brands are committed to helping our franchise partners realize their American dream by creative business ownership opportunities. The decision to relocate our corporate headquarters is intended to position us to attract the best talent in order to meet the needs of each brand’s growth.”

Transwestern Leases 30,000 Square Feet at 4200 Regent in Irving

4200 Regent, a 170,000-square-foot complex in Irving has a newly committed lessee. BSI Financial Services signed a 30,844-square-foot lease at the building, with Transwestern’s Kim Brooks and Chris Lipscomb at the helm of the deal.

4200 Regent was originally built specifically for FedEx and has unique amenities, including floorplates as large as 30,000 square feet, a convenient location that provides direct access to airports, retail, and restaurants, and the main building connected by three wings. Currently, other tenants include Louis Vuitton and Fuzzy’s Tacos.

“4200 Regent is strategically located in the heart of the Freeport submarket with incredible access to LBJ Freeway and a strong amenity base,” said Lipscomb. “BSI loved the vision for the future of this asset and everything it will offer its tenants. We’re delivering the upgraded, Class A amenities today’s office occupants are demanding.”

The complex has been undergoing campus-wide renovations that include a revamped lobby, upgraded fitness center, a “grab-n-go tenant lounge,” and an outdoor lounge area.

“In the post-pandemic scenario, we were looking to create a modern work environment that allows for greater collaboration between teams. This property provides us the elements we envisioned for our team members,” said BSI CEO Gagan Sharma.

Texas Health Hospital Frisco Completes New $23.6 Million Floor

The nonprofit health system, Texas Health, announced the completion of a new sixth floor at its Texas Health Hospital in Frisco. The expansion was a $23.6 million project that added 16 medical patient beds, 14 intensive care unit beds, and two operating suites.

Construction on the build-out began in November 2021, shortly after the hospital opened in December 2019. President of Texas Health Frisco, Brett Lee, mentioned the need for inpatient beds for trauma and surgical patients, noting that it is growing about 10% a month.

This new development adds 30 beds to the hospital’s original 63 and will help the hospital keep up with growing operating volumes, which have increased 16 percent since 2021, Lee said in a release.

With the floor designed specifically for gynecology, spine, urology and bariatrics patients, the hospital plans to introduce three new bariatric surgeons to the staff as well.

“The additional space will give us flexibility and help meet the growing needs of patients in Collin and Denton counties. The expansion allows us to have a dedicated ICU, so we can be more efficient with our staffing and provide a more supportive patient care environment,” Lee said.
