Newmark isn’t the only North Texas commercial real estate firm with a new leader. Earlier today, we reported that Ran Holman left Cushman & Wakefield to lead Texas operations for Newmark. It turns out Colliers International has some news of its own.

The company has hired former CBRE executive Daniel Taylor to run its Dallas-Fort Worth office. As executive managing director and market leader, he will oversee all brokerage operations and service lines in North Texas, focusing on new business development, talent recruitment, and retention.

Taylor replaces Steve Everbach, who departed Colliers International last week.

“Colliers’ unique entrepreneurial culture and growing brand in the market made this a perfect fit for me,” Taylor said in a statement.

Most recently, Taylor was managing director of retail in CBRE’s South-Central division. Before that, he was a top-producing broker in the firm’s Dallas market and, before that, at The Staubach Co. All told, he brings more than 20 years of experience to his new leadership role.

Taylor will report to David Josker, Southwest region of U.S. brokerage operations.

“Daniel is a consummate professional with a strong leadership style, and I have no doubt that under his direction, Colliers will continue to increase market share and attract top talent,” Josker said.
