As part of its Commercial Real Estate Awards program, D CEO has named Craig Hall as the 2019 winner of the Pioneer Award.

Over the course of his career, he has left an indelible mark on Dallas-Fort Worth, changing it for the better. And he is far from finished.

Hall has been instrumental in shaping the identity of the Arts District, which has helped position Dallas as a globally competitive city. He also pioneered commercial development in Frisco, where his HALL Park is being transformed into a mixed-use, walkable development.

Pioneers do not permit stagnation, and Hall is no exception. After 50 years in the real estate business, Hall is still raising the bar for his company and the DFW real estate community. In 2018, Hall Group completed its 17th office in building in Hall Park and launched an autonomous shuttle program there, topped out on one of the most high-dollar projects in downtown Dallas, the Hall Arts Hotel, received the Business Council for the Arts’ Obelisk Award for business contributions to the arts, wrote his seventh book, and established a $1 million grant to spur entrepreneurship.

Read more about Hall’s real estate legacy in this D CEO profile from 2013.

Tomorrow, we will release the list of all finalists in our 2019 Commercial Real Estate Awards program.
