After snapping up the development project in February, Stream Realty Partners and LaSalle Investment Management are breaking ground on Parkway Logistics Center in Grand Prairie. The 14.34-acre property will soon have a 271,794-square-foot speculative industrial development, slated to open later this year.

Located at 2911 South Great Southwest Pkwy. and directly opposite the Grand Prairie Municipal Airport, Parkway Logistics Center will be one of the newest additions to the GSW industrial submarket, the largest of its kind in the DFW region with 107 million square feet.

The building will be able to subdivide into 50,000 square feet, and will have 69 parking spots for trailers, as well as 44 dock-high loading bays.

“The attributes of this infill land site are fantastic, and we are excited to grow our relationship with LaSalle, who is one of our biggest clients in this area of DFW,” Stream Managing Director and Partner Cannon Green said in a statement.

Stream Senior Vice President Todd Noonan represented the seller in the land transaction. Green and Luke Davis, a vice president at Stream, represented the buyer.

In the first quarter of 2018, GSW trailed only the DFW Airport industrial submarket in net absorption and leads all submarkets in under-construction square footage with 2.9 million square foot in the pipeline.
