After eight years, Bob Morris will be stepping away from his role as CEO and president of Corgan but will continue as chairman of the board. Scott Ruch, executive managing principal and sector leader of the firm’s critical facilities practice, will replace him as the new CEO. Lindsay Wilson and Steve Hulsey will join him as presidents. Wilson and Hulsey will be responsible for the successful operation of the firm; growth strategies and initiatives; and brand, talent, and business development.
Scott Ruch graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in architecture. He has worked with Corgan since 1989. He was appointed to the management committee in 2013 and was promoted to executive managing principal in 2016. Ruch is the founder of Corgan’s critical facilities architecture group and has been involved in the design of more than 35 data center projects encompassing over 5 million square feet.
Lindsay Wilson graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in interior design. Lindsay specializes in developing the vision and the program for projects and evaluating real estate opportunities from a design perspective. Prior to being promoted to president, Wilson was the executive managing principal and interiors sector leader. Wilson will continue as Corgan’s interiors leader.
Steve Hulsey graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in architecture. Halsey joined Corgan in 1989 and specializes in educational facilities projects and has led the education studio since 2001. Prior to being promoted to president, Hulsey was the executive managing principal and education sector leader. Hulsey will continue as Corgan’s education leader.
Corgan’s portfolio of projects includes the Apple, Toyota, University of North Texas, Southwest Airlines, Facebook, and Frisco ISD.
“This is an intentional move to a collaborative leadership model that enables the firm’s leadership to remain very engaged in our practice, directly with our teams and with our clients,” Wilson says.
Corgan is also in the process of expanding its Dallas headquarters within Crescent Real Estate’s The Luminary.
