Hillwood Communities, the residential development arm of the Perot family’s many organizations, will open its latest residential community in Celina later this month. The 250-acre master-planned community called Bluewood will have 900 lots. Homeowners can select from builders such as CalAtlantic Homes, DR Horton, Meritage Homes, and M/I Homes.

The community, which is east of Preston Road and south of County Road 88, will also have an on-site elementary school within Celina ISD. Plenty of parks, trails, and a community pool make the development family-friendly.

At a preview event on from Feb. 9 to 11, realtors and homebuyers can tour model homes. Hillwood Communities is the developer behind thousands of homes nationwide, including North Texas communities such as Woodcreek in Fate, Liberty in Melissa, Creekwood in Fort Worth, and Harvest in Argyle.
