The Cypress Waters development has just landed the first tenant in its first lakeside office building. The Delta Cos., a Dallas-based physician and healthcare staffing firm, will be leaving its current space at the 226,911-square-foot office building called Four Hickory Centre in Farmers Branch. The company plans to occupy 38,000 square feet in the five-story Cypress Waters office building at 3100 Olympus Blvd. on North Lake. The 1,000-acre Cypress Waters development is spread across Dallas, Coppell, and Irving.
The new HQ will be positioned to overlook The Sound, a centerpiece of the development featuring retail space. The company plans to make the move in July 2018, once construction of the building is complete. A representative for the company said the staffing company has experienced a lot of growth and is expecting this to continue, making the move necessary.
“This state-of-the-art building provides us with access to best-in-class technology, including video and teleconferencing capabilities for more productive client and candidate interactions,” Bill Tracewell, The Delta Cos. CEO, said in a statement. “The open floor plan design gives us flexibility for expected future growth. As for the location—it can’t be beat. Proximity to DFW International Airport gives our team easier and more convenient access to client visits around the nation.”
“Recruiting and retention is a hot button for many companies in Dallas, and being across the street from lakefront retail and the trails around the lake is an amenity not many companies in Dallas can match,” Marijke Lantz, Billingsley senior vice president of investments and build to suits, said in a statement. “Not to mention the incredible views they will have of the water from the fifth floor. Their employees will be very happy here.”
The Delta Cos., which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, was named to Forbes’ list of Best Professional Recruiting Firms this year. Steve Wentz, Randy Cooper, and Wills Bauer of Cushman and Wakefield represented the tenant in the move.
