Editor’s note: View our 2018 list here.

Each year, as part of D CEO’s Power Brokers package, we rank the region’s largest commercial real estate firms. Our 2016 study involved 68 companies (down slightly from 70 last year, mostly due to mergers and acquisitions activity in the industry) with a total of 1,706 North Texas brokers (up significantly from 1,525 brokers last year, mostly due to a booming market).

Local brokers are defined as licensed professionals who help produce revenue for their firms.

The top four firms on our list remain the same, with CBRE adding to its ranks after its acquisition of UCR, and Cushman & Wakefield bulking up after its merger with DTZ. Colliers International climbed four spots in the rankings, from No. 9 to No. 5, after bringing CASE Commercial Real Estate into its fold.

Firms new to this list this year are Fischer, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, Rubicon Representation, Site Selection Group, and Vitorino Group.

Here’s the full list, which was published in the March issue of D CEO.
