Billingsley Co. has begun work on a build-to-suit for Quest Resource Management Group LLC. The fast-growing company, a subsidiary of Quest Resource Holding Corp., provides waste management and sustainability services to large corporations.

The new headquarters will total 36,000 square feet and sit along Plano Parkway within Austin Ranch in The Colony. It’s the second of three buildings planned for a site called Old Oak Pond, where Billingsley also is building a new regional headquarters for the Japanese electronics company Sanyo.

“Austin Ranch was a wonderful location for us to build,” said Brian Dick, president and CEO of Quest. “We will be right across the street from Grandscape, and we’re seconds from State Highway 121, so our employees have an easy commute.”

Grandscape is the mixed-use development surrounding the new Nebraska Furniture Mart store.

Quest’s new headquarters is slated to be ready for occupancy in September.  Steve Wentz of Cushman & Wakefield represented the company in its search. “This location was a great fit for Quest to boost its corporate image and get a great space for future growth,” he said.

The project is the latest in a slew of wins for Billingsley Co., which recently was named Developer of the Year by D CEO magazine.
