Two Forest Plaza, a 200,000-square-foot office tower on Merit Drive in Dallas, has a new owner. Encore Office, an affiliate of Encore Enterprises Inc., has acquired the property from Parmenter Realty Partners. The deal was brokered by Creighton Stark and Jack Minter with Colliers International.

The 11-story building is currently about 70 percent occupied, with lead tenants including New York Life and the corporate office of La Madeleine’s.

Steve Bonner, vice chairman of Parmenter, said the company was “extremely pleased” with the results of the sale. “Encore Enterprises is exactly the type of buyer we were hoping would purchase Two Forest Plaza and maintain its presence in the market,” he said.

Mark Cypert, president of Encore Office, said the building has a strong tenant base and is well positioned to benefit from the DFW office market recovery and completion of the LBJ expansion.
