CBRE promotes its capital markets leaders to vice chairmen, and Henry S. Miller announces a special promotion at its firm in this week’s Personnel Moves.

• Debt and equity finance specialists Jay Wagley and Mike Bryant have each been promoted to vice chairman at CBRE. The duo oversees production in the central United States for CBRE Capital Markets.

Wagley has been with the firm for 21 years. Prior to that he was a commercial lending officer in the world banking group of Chemical Bank and a senior consultant for Kenneth Leventhal & Co. Bryant joined CBRE two years ago. He previously was co-manager of the Texas production team at Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, a successor to Capmark Finance, GMAC Commercial Mortgage, and Keystone Mortgage Partners.

Wagley and Bryant have both ranked as Top 100 brokers within CBRE. Earlier this year, their team arranged multiple loans exceeding $1 billion to finance the acquisition of a portfolio of 27 multifamily assets located in eight markets across the country.

The vice chairman designation is CBRE’s highest rank for sales professionals. CBRE Dallas’ other vice chairmen are Jack Fraker, Gary Carr, and Jeff Ellerman.

• Henry S. Miller Brokerage has promoted Henry S. Miller IV to senior vice president of its retail group. He has been with the company since 1996, specializing in the leasing, sale, and development of retail real estate. He also was a key player on the development team that helped with West Village in Uptown. After that project wrapped up, he returned to the Miller retail division to focus on the project leasing of shopping centers, along with tenant representation. Miller has consistently been named a top 10 producer at the firm, and has a career transaction volume that tops $40 million.

“Throughout his tenure at Miller, Henry has been very successful in the leasing and sales of a variety of commercial properties, particularly retail,” said Sam Kartalis, president and chief operating officer of Henry S. Miller Retail Services LLC. “The Henry S. Miller principals and I are honored to announce Henry S. Miller IV as senior vice president of the Henry S. Miller Brokerage Retail Division.”
