Wayne White left his most recent role as executive vice president of the American Cancer Society in Chicago. Prior to that, White served TCL Communication in Los Angeles as vice president and general manager. White was selected out of 280 candidates to succeed CEO David Scullin, following Scullin’s retirement after six years leading CFT.

Steve Montgomery, Chief Executive Officer

Steve Montgomery is the founder of consulting firm, MontgomeryGR, which specializes in government relations, strategic communication, and stakeholder relations management. The Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce was a former client of MontgomeryGR. In his role as CEO of the Chamber, Montgomery has will focus on the workforce needs of Fort Worth and their resources, implementing better infrastructure and transportation, bolstering business retention, and fostering relationships with elected representatives.

CitySquare

Annam Manthiram, Chief Executive Officer

Annam Manthiram

Annam Manthiram is relocating to DFW from Albequerque, where she has served the HopeWorks team since 2021 as chief executive officer. Prior to joining HopeWorks in 2017, Manthiram served the Los Angeles AIDS Project and the City of Hope Cancer Research Center. At CitySquare, Manthiram will lead operations of the $18-million organization and be responsible for its 65,000 annual constituents. She succeeds former CEO John Siburt beginning in August 2023.

Rob Nowak, National Practice Leader for Tax Services

Prior to joining Weaver as a tax partner in 2020, Rob Nowak was a regional tax practice leader. His background includes a concentration in complex real estate transactions, flowthrough entity taxation, deferred exchanges, and strategic tax planning for real estate developers, syndicators, and funds. In his new role, Nowak will focus on Weaver’s continued growth, risk management oversight, and team development. His promotion follows Sean Muller’s move to lead Weaver’s specialty tax services.

Matt Rader, Managing Director

In his new role, Matt Rader will focus on growing the firm’s cost-segregation services. Prior to this role, Rader served financial consulting firm Kroll as a senior director. Rader has also previously served as a managing director for CBRE. Based in Dallas, BBG has 47 offices nationwide and serves more than 4,500 clients.

Gene Besen, Managing Partner

Gene Besen specializes in government enforcement and investigations practice, for clients involved in criminal prosecutions, congressional investigations, and civil enforcement proceedings. Besen is also addresses complex white-collar crime adjacent matters, such as fraud and commercial bribery cases. As managing partner, Besen will oversee business plans and operations for the Dallas office, as well as coordinate with other firm managing partners.

Whitebox Real Estate

In this new role for Whitebox Real Estate, Mark will oversee day-to-day operations, focusing on company growth and accountability from all teams. He will complement the firm’s founder Grant Pruitt, who will serve as more of a visionary. Norman will serve as an integrator for the firm. With its corporate headquarters in Dallas and three other offices, Whitebox is actively seeking to enter new markets, aiming to be in seven markets by 2030 with 100 employees.

Brian Collins previously served VWH Capital Management as the head of H.R. and administration for nine months. Before that, Collins rose to chief operating officer for Skyview Group, an affiliated entity for Highland Capital Management. He held other leadership roles at Highland Capital Management over the previous 13 years.

Nick Brooks served The Beck Group as senior counsel prior to joining Premier. There, he was specialized in litigation and claims, negotiating contracts, and other department-specific counseling needs. In his new role, Brooks will provide legal insight and advice, as well as take appropriate steps to manage risks while also optimizing profitability and fueling growth.

Mark Talbot, Senior Project Manager

In his new role, Mark Talbot will serve as clients’ primary point of contact and liaise with the design team. He will also be responsible for the success of project design, schedules, deliverables, and budgets. Talbot previously held leadership roles at Moore Design Group, Wilson Kullman McCord, and Interior Architects.

Fiona Maguire, Vice President of Growth

In her new role at Dallas-based luxury rideshare company Alto, Fiona Maguire will be responsible for amplifying and building upon Alto’s brand partnerships to increase marketing impact. She will also help foster new corporate client relationships throughout Alto’s six operating regions. Maguire previously served as general manager, new regions for Door Dash, and has also held leadership roles at Main Event, Uber, ClassPass, and more.

Langdon Morrison, Vice President of Capital Markets

Langdon Morrison previously served Gladstone Companies in New York as associate vice president, handling sales and distribution of alternative investments to RIAs in the Northeast and Midwest. In his new role with Dallas-based Revere, Morrison will be responsible for managing relationships with companies on the east and southeast coasts.

Amber Pickett Wernick, Director of Practice Development

Amber Pickett Wernick began her career at Perkins & Will in 2008 as an interior designer, where she worked until 2015. She now rejoins the firm 15 years later. She has held previously served as senior associate at Clive Wilkinson Architects and manager of workplace experience for LuluLemon. In her new role, Wernick will play a key role in client engagement, identifying new opportunities that grow the studio’s interior design practice.

Kelly Perry, Athletic Director

Kelly Perry will serve as the second athletic director in UNT Dallas’ history, selected out of 110 candidates. Perry currently serves as associate athletic director at Colorado State-Pueblo, where she oversees compliance and internal operations for 21 sports. She also served for nine years as associate ahletic director over Compliance and Academics at Oklahoma City University.

Parkhill

Adam Hillman, Senior Practice Leader

Adam Hillman will concentrate on client-service strategies, business development, and market growth across North Dallas for Frisco-based engineering and architecture firm Parkhill. Hillman will focus on business development and market growth in the North Texas region and will also concentrate on firmwide strategies.
