Nearly 400 of Dallas’ most influential business leaders gathered at The Mason to celebrate the release of D CEO’s 2023 Dallas 500 and shared success over the past year. Live music from Encore Productions, multiple photo ops, gourmet food stations, a specialty Maker’s Mark cocktail bar, and a sleight-of-hand strolling magician kept guests entertained between networking and merry-making.
Noelle LeVeaux, publisher of D Magazine Partners, expressed her gratitude for Dallas’ business community before handing over the microphone to Christine Perez, editor of D CEO, to share her remarks and set the stage for the cover reveal.
The 2023 cover models were unaware of who else was on the cover leading up to the unveiling. Leaders featured in this year’s edition were photographed individually and brought together in post-production by D CEO’s Design Director Hamilton Hedrick. Cover stars for 2023 include Caren Lock of TIAA, Terrence Maiden of Russell Glen Co., Melbourne O’Banion of Bestow, Dupree Scovell of Woodbine Development Corp., Taylor Shead of STEMuli, Gennéa Squire de Torres of Cadré Talent Consulting, and Megha Tolia of Shondaland.
The 2023 Dallas 500 features the most influential business leaders across the region in approximately 60 categories. D CEO editors do hundreds of interviews during six months of research to compile the list. In the 2023 edition, 189 fresh faces were added to the book with 311 returnees, representing 441 dynamic and growing DFW businesses.
