Aaron Pierce will lead North Texas-based Perot Jain’s investment business and manage the firm’s growing portfolio of business and investment interests.He previously co-founded and served as Venture Dallas, a nonprofit organization he helped establish to support emerging entrepreneurs and investors in North Texas. He now serves as chairman for the company. Pierce also previously launched a family office for a high-net-worth individual in Dallas.

Hyosung America 

Sang Hwan Kweon, Chief Executive Officer

Sang Hwan Kweon

Sang Hwan Kweon most recently served as COO for ATM and cash management company Hyosung America. He served as senior vice president of global business and product planning for Hyosung TNS in Korea prior to joining Hyosung America in 1989. Hyosung America recently made headlines for its new recycling products in the retail sector and its investment in crypto currency.

Polsinelli 

Viking Tao, Shareholder

Viking Tao will join Polsinelli’s Corporate and Transactional practice group. Tao’s practice focuses on private equity-led commercial real estate investment and development, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, partnership and joint venture negotiations, and commercial disputes. Her clients include leading American and Asian funds, family offices and developers, as well as small- to medium-sized developers, investors and lenders.

RailPros 

Joe North, Senior Vice President

In his new role, Joe North will manage client development and transit rail relationships for the company. North previously served as RailPros’ vice president of northeast market. Prior to joining Irving-based RailPros, North served as vice president for AECOM for a year. His promotion follows two new C-Suite hires at RailPros this past summer.

Origin Bank 

Justin Jennings, Vice President and Commercial Relationship Banker

Justin Jennings will serve as vice president at the Dallas office of Louisiana-based Origin Bank. Jennings has four years of experience in the banking industry, specializing in lending to middle market commercial and industrial businesses throughout Texas. In his new role at Origin, he will continue to provide credit solutions to Texas business owners and operators.

Joe Ghesquiere, Managing Director

Joe Ghesquiere will now work in Alvarez & Marsal’s Corporate Performance Improvement practice. Ghesquiere, focuses on revenue growth and margin optimization, organization design, and operational turnaround. He previously served as director at AlixPartners in North Texas, and returns to Alvarez & Marsal after serving as manager, then director, from 2011–2013.

Mike Cremin, Managing Director

Mike Cremin specializes in helping clients leverage technology to enable new business capabilities and models, improving performance, and enhancing the quality and cost of technology services. Most recently, Cremin led the development of a multiyear technology strategy for a global hospitality organization. Prior to joining A&M, Cremin served as a managing director at Accenture’s Technology Strategy practice.

Hadley Woerner succeeds Melinda M. Johnston, who now serves as the board’s immediate past chair. In addition, seven individuals were named as new board members. Woerner is also Tarrant Region Frost Pank president. He has over 39 years of experience working with corporations, business owners, government and nonprofits. He also serves on the board of directors for Cook Children’s Health Foundation, North Texas LEAD, Davey O’Brien Foundation, Tarleton State University Foundation and the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce.
