Having joined Omni Hotels in 2014, Kurt Alexander has served the resort brand for more than seven years in various leadership positions, overseeing shared services, corporate accounting, capital finance, and more. Most recently, he served as CFO. As president, Alexander will work with his colleagues to deliver memorable experiences to guests.

Peter Strebel, Chairman

Peter Strebel joined Omni Hotels and Resorts in 2009, working his way through roles including general manager, senior vice president of operations, and chief marketing officer. He has served as president at Omni since 2018. In his new role as chairman, he will advise on strategy. Prior to his time at Omni, Strebel served at Wyndham Hotels for more than three years as president.


Peinado Construction

Robert Shelton, President

Robert Shelton joined Peinado Construction in 2013 as vice president of pre-construction, then worked his way through senior and executive vice president roles over nine years. In his new role as president, Shelton will spearhead client relations, preconstruction, and more. Prior to joining Peinado, Shelton served as president for Shelton-Miller.

Rob Shearer, Chief Communications Officer

Prior to joining United Way, Rob Shearer was senior director of communications at Commit Partnership, where he built and led a communications team for the collective impact organization that brings together school systems, higher education institutions, governments, employers, nonprofits, and more to improve economic opportunity in the region through improved access to quality education. In his new role, Shearer will help improve outcomes for education, income, and health within North Texas.

Tony Bridwell, Chief Talent Officer

In his new role, Tony Bridwell will collaborate with organizations to cultivate cultures of high performance and elevation. For the past four years Bridwell has served as a member of the Southwest Transplant Alliance board of directors, as well as a member of the compensation and personnel committee. Prior to joining the Encompass Group, Bridwell was senior vice president and chief people officer at Ryan, where he directed and oversaw global HR for private international services in tax consulting and recovery.

Jocelyn Kukulka, Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Development

Jocelyn Kukulka

Jocelyn Kukulka will help develop the firm’s strategy to create opportunities and improve shareholder returns in her new role. Prior to joining Texas Capital Bank, Kukulka was vice president of Western Alliance Bancorporation for more than five years. Kukulka also previously served as director of the Investment Banking Group at Sandler O’Neill & Partners, where she advised companies around financial for eight years.
