Sally Pietsch

Sally Pietsch, Chief Financial Officer

Sally Pietsch will be responsible for the DMA’s finances, accounting functions, and selecting earned revenue streams. She will also provide operations leadership and partner on business and strategic planning for the museum’s future. Pietsch has 40 years of industry experience, including posts with the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Frito-Lay, and Blockbuster Entertainment. She recently worked as CFO for DFW nonprofit The Family Place, where she successfully secured a PPP loan of $1.7 million so the agency’s three shelters could remain open during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Education: Southern Methodist University (MBA), Rollins College (B.A.)


Jamco Interests

Sherif Mityas

Sherif Mityas, Operating Partner

Majority stakeholder of Dallas-based Brix Holdings, a multi-brand franchising company, Jamco Interests has hired Sherif Mityas to support the company in positioning, growth, and M&A. Mityas’ previous leadership roles include chief experience officer for TGI Fridays and chief executive officer for Hollywood Video/Movie Gallery.

Repairify

Chris Chesney

Chris Chesney, Vice President of Training and Organizational Development

Chris Chesney’s new VP role will establish a comprehensive training initiative for customers, industry partners, employees, and a network of technicians throughout Repairify, a technology company serving the automotive repair industry. Chesney has held nearly every primary role in the automotive service sector, including master technician, service advisor, shop owner, and technical and management educator.

Gensler

Juan Fernandez

Juan Fernandez, Client Strategy Director

Juan Fernandez previously worked at design firm SmithGroup as principal and workplace studio leader, where he also oversaw talent development and office operations. His other experience includes project coordination, development, and planning at CBRE and JLL. Fernandez will build and manage client and industry relationships, lead business development, and facilitate project delivery in his new role.

Premier

Abby Shehan

Abby Shehan, Design Director

As design director, Abby Shehan will coordinate her team, take on responsibilities for deadlines, and manage and oversee the design and profitability of future projects. She previously served as senior designer for Premier. Before that, Shehan was the lead interior designer at Pulp Design Studios and a senior designer for Duncan Miller Ullmann.

Leslie Wynne

Leslie Wynne, Design Manager

Leslie Wynne previously served as a senior interior designer with Premier. In her new position, she will train Premier’s junior designers and help with administrative elements of managing project responsibilities and deadlines. Before joining Premier, Wynne was an interior designer for Jones Baker.
