East Quarter, Todd Interests’ eight-block project between downtown Dallas, Deep Ellum, and the Farmers Market, is turning into a hub for tech companies. Already home to Dialexa and Order My Gear, the project has just won a corporate office for Therabody.

Along with the Theragun, Therabody makes other tech-wellness products, from pneumatic compression to botanical therapy devices.

The Los Angeles company is behind the Theragun, a high-end, deep-muscle massage device used by everyone from novice trainers to professional athletes in more than 60 countries. It has five branded retail locations and can also be found in 10,000 other stores worldwide.

Therabody will occupy the top floors of 2200 Main. It expects to bring more than 50 jobs to Dallas and eventually expand its presence in the area beyond its corporate office. The company’s focus on wellness, technology, and design made it a perfect fit for East Quarter, said Patrick Todd, managing partner at Todd Interests.

Once home to auto showrooms, Todd Interests has restored East Quarter’s 18 existing buildings and developed a new 20-story mixed-use tower with retail, office, and residential space. It all adds up to 400,000 square feet of office space, 40,000 square feet of retail space, and 335 luxury residences.
