Personnel Moves: Sidley Hires New Partner

Sidley

Holt Foster

Holt Foster, Partner

Holt Foster will become a member of Sidley’s Global Energy and Infrastructure group and area co-lead of the firm’s energy practice. As one of the leading energy transactional lawyers in Dallas, Foster represents some of the industry’s largest funds, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, financing, and formation of private equity funds. He joins Sidley from Thompson Knight, where he was head of the Dallas office.

Yvette Ostolaza

Yvette Ostolaza, Management Committee Chair-Elect

As chair of Sidley’s nine-member management committee, Yvette Ostolaza will work closely with Michael Schmidtberger, current chair of the executive committee, to help guide the law firm. Ostolaza currently co-chairs Sidley’s Global Litigation Practice, serves on its management and executive committees, and is a managing partner in the firm’s Dallas office. She has experience in multi-district litigation, bankruptcy, arbitration, and securities litigation.

Urban Land Institute District Council Dallas Fort-Worth

Pamela Babcock Stein

Pamela Babcock Stein, Retired

Pamela Babcock Stein has stepped down as the Executive Director of ULI District Council Dallas-Fort Worth, a nonprofit education and research institute, after eight years a district council leader. She was the organization’s first executive director and was a ULI member prior to accepting the position. The Urban Land Institute District Council is currently searching for Stein’s replacement.

JLL

Jason Cheek

Jason Cheek, Vice President of Healthcare

Jason Cheek will focus on serving healthcare tenants at JLL. Bringing ten years of experience to JLL, Cheek previously served as vice president of leasing for Healthcare Trust of America’s Dallas and Houston markets. He started his career in real estate at Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare.

TIG Real Estate Services

Jennifer Gray, Broker

With years of experience as a commercial real estate broker, Jennifer Gray looks forward to growing her existing portfolio of project leasing and sales assignments at commercial real estate leasing and property management firm, TIG Real Estate Services. Gray has represented several hundred retailers, restaurants, services, and entertainment venues including: Tolbert’s Chili Parlor, Flirty Girl Lash Studio, and Spruce Home & Closet. She previously operated independently under Integrity Commercial Real Estate.

KAI Engineering

Sam Haddadin

Sam Haddadin, Mechanical Designer

Sam Haddadin will design project mechanical systems’ layouts, including HVAC, plumbing, and production lines at one of the largest minority-owned engineering firms in the industry, KAI. Haddadin comes to KAI from Fresh Del Monte Produce where he was maintenance supervisor, designing mechanical systems and oversaw shop activities such as sheet metal, pipe fitting, and mechanical repairs.

Mark Steele

Mark Steele, Electrical Designer

Mark Steele will be responsible for power distribution, lighting and controls, photovoltaic, network, and fire alarm design, and short circuit and fault current analysis at KAI. He brings 17 years of electrical design experience to the firm. Steele most recently worked as Senior Electrical Designer for Eikon Consulting Group.

Education: University of Texas at San Antonio (BS)

Singee Nguyen

Singee Nguyen, Electrical Designer

Singee Nguyen will work with senior electrical team members to provide drafting and design support for project electrical systems and power distribution. He previously worked as an Electrical Technician for IP Displays in Allen.
