Many North Texas companies are becoming more proactive about diverse hiring and retention efforts. How can area businesses work to build the pipeline of talent in their own industries—and ultimately provide more access and opportunity for all?

These topics and more will be discussed in the second installment of D CEO’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion quarterly series. The virtual event will be held from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on May 12.

Moderator Gillea Allison, publisher of D CEO and president of D Magazine Partners, will lead a frank and practical dialogue around building the pipeline for diverse talent and meeting people where they are. She’ll talk with three leaders on the issues of recruitment, workforce development, and retention:

  • Nakia Douglas, Founding Executive Director, TRIO and Pre-Collegiate Programs, UNT Dallas
  • Gradlin Franks, Director of Diversity and Inclusion, The Beck Group
  • Evelyn Torres-Gomez, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Solaris Technologies Services

Be a part of this important conversation. Tickets are just $20. For additional details and to register, click here.
