Dr. Alicia Makaye, who founded GXA with her husband in 2004, will continue to oversee all aspects of internal operations plus accounting, organizational development, and other business objectives for the company. Makaye is an Air Force veteran who holds a doctorate in public affairs and master’s and bachelor’s in human affairs.

Jason Brown, President
Dallas-native Jason Brown previously served as treasurer role with DCH’s board of directors. In his role as the company’s third-ever president, Brown will focus on several housing and mixed-use developments that DCH has in the works.

Ross Curtis, Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations
Ross Curtis previously served as director of client relations and 1031 solutions at Capview Partners. Curtis has been active in the investment and financial planning industry since 1993, and his new role will have him supporting Megatel’s strategic growth initiatives.

Lyn Pruitt, Partner
Lyn Pruitt joins DLA Piper’s Litigation and Regulatory practice, having spent the past 20 years working on major product liability and other cases. Pruitt was previously at Mitchell Williams Selig Gates and has litigated more than 60 cases in her 20-year career.

Tammy Jones-Still, Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Tammy Jones-Still has been with Brinker International for 24 years, most recently serving as senior director. As vice president of diversity, equity & inclusion, Jones-Still will focus on strengthening the company’s D&I strategies.
Karen Neal, Vice President of Finance and Administration
Karen Neal joined Cooksey Communications in 2016 as a finance and administration manager to oversee the company’s accounting and financial matters, human resources initiatives, and administrative needs. Neal will continue with these duties in her new role as vice president of finance and administration.
