NTT Data Services, based in Plano, will have a new CEO starting July 1.
The top seat will soon be occupied by Bob Pryor, who has been with the company since 2017, most recently as chief operating officer. John McCain, who has served as CEO since 2010, was named executive chairman on April 1 and will become the first non-Japanese member of the board of NTT Data Corp., the global organization under which NTT Data Services operates.
Pryor will be charged with overseeing NTT Data Services’ business operations and growth and innovation in digital, cloud, and security. He will also serve as the member of NTT Data Services’ board.
The press release calls the change at the top a “planned leadership transition.”
“As COO, Bob played an essential role in setting this strong foundation, including the successful integration of the former Dell Services, and he will do a great job as CEO leading this company and our clients into the future,” McCain said in a release.
During McCain’s tenure, NTT Data Services relocated its headquarters from Boston to Plano’s Legacy West in 2013. It received $7.5 million from the state of Texas for that move. Since then, it acquired Dell Services for $3.1 billion and has been on the hunt for more strategic acquisitions.
