AT&T’s Atlanta Operations Hub Is Not Moving to Dallas, After All

The move was inaccurately reported earlier by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

AT&T’s headquarters is located in downtown Dallas.

AT&T’s Dallas headquarters will not  become home to the company’s operations hub, it turns out.

An earlier report by the Atlanta Business Chronicle stated that the company is moving about 300 jobs from its operations hub and entertainment division in Atlanta to Dallas and Los Angeles, respectively.

Wednesday, however, AT&T told D CEO that the job transfers referred to in the Business Chronicle story had already been completed in 2017, and that they were unrelated to the company’s operations hub.

The erroneous jobs information was included in a Business Chronicle report about AT&T consolidating its Atlanta offices. An earlier version of D CEO‘s story cited the details from the Business Chronicle story.
