Health Wildcatters has introduced a Health Investor Alliance, comprising 26 venture capital firms, as it aims to increase deal flow and exposure of the accelerator’s companies.

Huber Zajicek, CEO of the Dallas health accelerator, said most of the investors have long standing had relationships with him throughout the years. The alliance represents investors’ formal commitment to consider the accelerator’s portfolio of companies for possible investment deals. Health Wildcatters will provide investors shared office space in its green suite at its new office, located at 1910 Pacific Ave., VIP access to pitch day, and the first look at the startups. Startups will get one-on-one access to the investors.

“This should help with [startups] understanding of the role we are playing,” Zajicek said. “It’s further validation for startups that seek to be in Dallas.”
