On October 30, David Dike Fine Art will host its 25th anniversary Texas art auction, offering up over 450 pieces of traditional and contemporary works from various Texas artists. Out of the 450 pieces, 50 works originate from the collection of Linda and William Reaves, longstanding Texas art collectors, known for their collection of 20th century Texas art. Proceeds from the Reaves’ collection will support the couple’s endowment fund for Texas Art and Education at Texas A&M University. The fund supports the Texas Art Project, an Austin-based camp for student artists.

The 25th anniversary auction will feature a self portrait sale from local artists at participating galleries to benefit the 24 Hour Club, a sober transitional living center for people experiencing homelessness.

In addition to the charitable donations, CASETA – The Center for the Advancement and Study of Early Texas Art will benefit from a portion of sales. The auction will begin at 10 a.m. Dike is known as one of the preeminent collectors of Texas art, both contemporary and traditional. You’ll likely find something that interests you. For more information about the in-person and online bidding, visit the fine art gallery’s website.
