Where to Watch Fourth of July Fireworks in Dallas

Eleven of the brightest Independence Day celebrations in the DFW area.

Fair Park Fourth | July 4

Starting at 3 p.m. the fairgrounds will have water inflatables, games, crafts, and swan boats. The Midway opens at noon with rides, games, and concession stands (admission to the midway is $5 online and $8 at the gates). You can bring coolers with food (no alcohol) to the fair grounds, but not the Midway. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. 

Old-Fashioned Family Fireworks Picnic at Fort Worth Botanic Garden | July 3 & 4

The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra accompanies a brilliant fireworks show in the garden. Pack a picnic and bring your own chair or blanket. Tickets start at $25. 

Addison Kaboom Town | July 3 

See one of the most elaborate fireworks shows in the country along with an air show and live music. The festivities begin at 5 p.m., fireworks are at 9:30 p.m. and there’s an after party at 10 p.m. No admission required and parking is free, but capacity is limited, so arrive early. 

Red White & Boom on the Bridge | July 3

See fireworks illuminate the downtown skyline at this free event taking place on Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. The party goes from 6-10 p.m. 

Lone Stars and Stripes Celebration at Lone Star Park | July 4 & 5

Kid-friendly activities like bounce houses, face painting, pony rides, and a petting zoo start at 3 p.m. The first horse race is at 5 p.m. A fireworks show will follow the final race.

Frisco Freedom Fest | July 4

Simpson Plaza at Frisco City Hall is hosting a full night of fun, starting at 4 p.m. The Party in the Plaza will have a Children’s Expo, Community Stage, Vendor Village, and Taste of Frisco featuring local restaurants. There’s an FC Dallas soccer match against D.C. United at 8 p.m., which will be followed by a giant fireworks show. 

Plano’s All American Fourth | July 4

At Collin College, Plano celebrates Independence Day with a food and vendor market, live music, a kid zone, and fireworks. The event starts at 4 p.m. and the fireworks are at 9:30 p.m. 

37th Annual July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza on Lake Grapevine | July 4

Due to elevated lake levels at Lake Grapevine, this fireworks display with patriotic music has been moved from its normal location to an area near Great Wolf Lodge. 

Irving Independence Day Fireworks Show | July 4

See live music and a fireworks display at scenic Lake Carolyn in Las Colinas. The Powell Brothers play at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Downtown Fever Band at 8 p.m., and the fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.
