Since Houston-raised singer, rapper, and flautist Lizzo released her third studio album, Cuz I Love You, in April, she’s become the object of a worldwide obsession. In February, New York magazine’s The Cut published a story with the title “It’s Just a Matter of Time Before Everyone Loves Lizzo,” and this summer has proven that prediction to be very true. The rising star brought down the house with her lively, much-talked-about performance at Sunday night’s BET Awards, which Rihanna gave a very enthusiastic standing ovation.

That’s all to say, it’s a good time to hop aboard the Lizzo bandwagon if you haven’t already. And, conveniently, tickets for her Dallas tour date officially went on sale this morning. She’s performing at South Side Ballroom on Saturday, October 5, in between her two sets at Austin City Limits that weekend. Tickets are currently available from $40-70, which seems like a steal considering what she brings to the stage. Not to mention, it’s much cheaper and more intimate than seeing her at ACL.
