Whether or not you have any desire to make it to Coachella this year, if you have Instagram, then Coachella and its dreamy California desertscape will, in fact, make its way to you. Fortunately, photographer Thom Jackson is doing the good work of transporting you to Palm Springs without a plane ticket or pricy festival pass.

His newest exhibit, opening at Craighead Green Gallery in the Design District today, features images Jackson shot of Dallas-native and supermodel Chandra North taken while on assignment for American Airlines in 1990, and was styled to represent a more retro version of Palm Springs — which will be an interesting juxtaposition to the city you’ll see splashed across social media this weekend and next.

Palm Springs 1990” will run through May 3, featuring vintage swimsuits and iconic California locations (some which are, sadly, no longer currently standing).
