KXT’s Sun Sets, the radio station’s consistently impressive summer concert series, has three defining characteristics: a.) talented performers playing in b.) a scenic and intimate outdoor setting in Dallas at c.) sunset. This is a slight evolution from the not-long-ago days when the series was known as Barefoot at the Belmont for the Dallas hotel it long called home.
The above formula holds true for this year’s edition of the series, which will take place at the Dallas Arboretum’s Camp Lawn, with White Rock Lake as the backdrop. KXT 91.7 released the lineup today:

Season passes are up for grabs now if you donate to the public radio station, and single-day tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. This is a slightly bigger venue than, say, the Belmont, but this series has a history of selling out fast. Sun Set shows at the Arboretum are bring your own beverages, food, picnic blankets, and lawn chairs.
