An American in Paris comes from Broadway to Fair Park next year as part of Dallas Summer Musicals’ 2016-2017 season. The Tony-winning hit, which was partly produced by DSM and former president Michael Jenkins, was guaranteed to come to Dallas this season.

The six-show season begins Dec. 6 with a holiday production of Broadway Christmas Wonderland, although the  Rudolph musical opens as an add-on Nov. 25. Other visiting shows include The Bodyguard, Circus 1903 — The Golden Age of Circus, and Let It Be, the Beatles tribute.

The fan favorite Kinky Boots will return, and another recent DSM hit, the all-star magician showcase The Illusionists, is back as a season add-on. Stomp and Cheers Live On Stage, based on the television show and the bar where everybody knows your name, round out the 2016-2017 lineup.

DSM will co-present An American in Paris for a run at the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, where Broadway lovers can look forward to a season that includes Annie, Rent, and Matilda.

Dallas Summer Musicals season tickets are on sale now, as are tickets for Broadway at the Bass.
