The National Videogame Museum in Frisco is running a scavenger hunt ahead of its April 2 grand opening — Find a “treasure chest” hidden at a local business and win two early admission tickets to the museum along with a “swag bag” of free merchandise and arcade tokens.

You’ll have a few chances to be a winner. A “treasure chest” each will be hidden today, Wednesday, and Thursday, and the hunt continues next week. The museum will post a clue on its Facebook page to guide scavengers each day. Find the chest, take a picture with the prize, and send the photo to [email protected]. Go here for all the rules.

The museum’s already shared the first clue, and has probably already found its first winner:

We’re not participating in the scavenger hunt, but just in case this treasure chest has yet to be found, we’re going to give you an extra hint. It rhymes with “Tonic,” and there are several of them in Frisco. We hope you choose the right one or some carhop is going to think you’re awfully strange.

The next clue will be posted tomorrow.

The National Videogame Museum will include its own arcade, a walkthrough history of the video game industry, and what is billed as the “world’s largest home Pong console.”
