Dallas’ alternative rock radio station has announced the lineup for its annual Edgefest blowout, set this year on April 30 at Frisco’s Toyota Stadium.
Cage the Elephant and The 1975 get top billing, but some of the relatively smaller-print names are just as impressive. Chvrches and Foals, in particular, are great bands that we’re always happy to see performing in North Texas in any capacity. Both would be worthy headliners in their own rights. The lineup may even include a few surprises for some fans. Are we the only ones shocked to learn that Good Charlotte is still around in 2016?
This may be stating the obvious, but it should be a fantastic one-day festival for people who keep their radio dial tuned to 102.1 The Edge.
More acts will be announced in the future. Here’s the full lineup as it now stands:
- Cage the Elephant
- Good Charlotte
- The 1975
- Blue October
- Bastille
- X Ambassadors
- Silversun Pickups
- Chvrches
- Nothing But Thieves
- Foals
- The Struts
- The Strumbellas
- The Joy Formidable
Tickets go on sale Feb. 12 at 10 am.
