After a few weeks packed with art openings, things cool off for Halloween weekend. Some highlights from the upcoming weekend include a couple of panel discussions about recently opened shows at CentralTrak and Gray Matters Gallery; MFA and faculty shows at UNT and UTA, respectively; and a monthly mixer at Circuit 12. Ash Studios also opens work by ShonTé Renae, and Dallas Auction Gallery hosts a preview of work from the collection of Sam Wyly. Highlights from that upcoming auction include pieces by Thomas Hart Benton, Frederic Remington, and Pablo Picasso ceramics.
