There aren't many live shows happening this evening, but I wouldn't exactly call it a quiet night.

There aren’t too many concerts happening around North Texas tonight, but the selection listed below aren’t the usual Tuesday night fare, either. Over the course of the new few days, we’ll have more on a great selection of concerts happening this week. For now, take a glance at what’s going on this evening:

“Noise Terror From Midwest” (Taqueria Pedtritos): Truth in advertising: this showcase of mostly experimental electronic and industrial music from the Midwest states of Nebraska and Missouri does include a few Texas and Oklahoma acts. The lineup includes Aqua Eroticum, Black Pillar, Fecal Dam, Bone Magic, Pyre Ashes and Sobering. You can expect a dark alchemy of noise paranoia, terror, and tacos. Entry for this one is a suggested $5, but bring whatever cash you have on you. You won’t be turned away.

Full of Hell | Noisem | Baring Teeth | Tyrannosorceress (Three Links): East Coast band, Full of Hell, are colossal mixture of hardcore, noise and death metal, and their intense live performances have gained them increased notoriety among the DIY hardcore community. The band is sure to increase their exposure when they release a collaborative album with prolific Japanese experimental noise artist, Merzbow, in November, since that’s a name that people unfamiliar with noise have often heard. North Texas acts, Baring Teeth and Tyrannosorceress, will open.

80’s Night with yeahdef (Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studios): This popular weekly happening at Rubber Gloves was recently bumped due to an increase in booked shows, including last week’s Free Week, but returns as a regularl weekly tonight. It’s a night full of dance and 80’s tunes. yeahdef will be on the decks spinning everything ranging from goth, rap, and Italo disco, to industrial. It’s 100% vinyl and completely free.
