East Dallas Gallery Day — June 14, 12-8 p.m.

The centerpiece of this weekend’s East Dallas Gallery Day will be the tenth anniversary of The Public Trust. If it doesn’t feel to you like The Public Trust has already been around a decade, you’re right. The gallery has existed sine 2007, but the force behind the space, Brian Gibb, has been active agent for a full ten years, beginning with the launch of Art Prostitute in Denton. The anniversary event will be heavily saturated in materials that have been Gibb’s bread and butter over the past ten years: prints, books, and ephemera. You’ll also have an opportunity to get your hands on some back issues of Art Prostitute.

Book Swap at The Reading Room — June 14, 4-8 p.m. 3715 Parry St. Dallas, TX 75226.
