Freaky Fast Sandwich Making and Eating Contest. We don’t care how gross you think competitive eating is. Because you know what? At the end of the day, it’s down-right impressive when someone can fit an entire pantry’s worth of food in his or her stomach without dying. This contest combines the sport of eating with the art of sandwich making. Here’s the gist: three Jimmy John’s assemblers will slice, layer, slather, and fold as fast as they can, while three world-class eaters (including Joey Chestnut) rapidly devour their handiwork. 1 p.m. Chevrolet Main Stage.
