We have been rolling out additions over the past few weeks to our full bill for this Thursday’s FrontRow Live event at the Dallas Contemporary, brought to you by Chevy and taking place from 8 p.m. until midnight. Here is the final bill and schedule:
DJ Sober from 8-9
DJ Prince William from 9-10
Play-N-Skillz from 10:30-12
Violinist Richmond Punch plays between sets
Dallas Family Band performs outside starting at 9
Upstart Productions performs at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 in the video room
A short video program with works collected by D’s arts editor Peter Simek will be show in the video room, and video artist Lars Larsen will accompany DJs Sober and Prince William
Rhythm Knightz breakdancing throughout the evening
The Public Trust’s Brian Gibb screen printing from 9 – 10pm, in addition to the Dallas Contemporary’s current exhibitions, featuring Aaron Parazette, Jason Brooks, and Jennifer Rubell.
Food and Drink:
A pop-up Pearl Cup coffee lounge; a food truck park outside (Cavalli Pizza, Nammi Truck, Bomb Fried Pies, Trailercakes, and Ruthie’s Rolling Cafe); free Michelob Ultra beer; soda and water to keep you hydrated
– The event is free, but a ticket is required for entry
– Bring your ID; you must be over 21 to receive drink tickets
– Your first four beers are free; after that it’s $2 for a ticket
– Bring cash for the food trucks, Pearl Cup coffee, and valet (if you don’t want to self park)
