What The Owner Says: When our 16-year-old Pomeranian passed away of cancer, I did not believe we’d ever own another dog. Our family was just not the same. However, a year and a half later, we were looking online at rescue animals and found Iwa (then named Ranger). He was offered by Moka’s Dog ‘n Cat Rescue. When we went to visit him, I actually broke down in the Petco because I wasn’t sure I could stand losing another friend; but my wife convinced me that a rescue dog needs a home. So we welcomed our new friend into our lives. Since then, Iwa has enjoyed a life of Riley: chasing our three cats, devouring countless squeak toys, going for long walks at the dog park, and long evenings of belly rubs. His unique look always gets questions from strangers and brings a smile to so many young faces. How can you not love that face?
