What The Owner Says: Ellie is thought of by some as a celebrity dog because of her personality. She loves to be loved! Shortly after I adopted her in Los Angeles, she was spotted by then-Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. He said, “Her eyes are like a human.” She loves to be petted, to chase squirrels, and to get treats from her grandmother. She has a tendency to walk the perimeter of things, float on rafts in the pool, and get stuck in the bathroom. Once, after a garage sale, she snuck out the back fence leaving her owners fearing she’d been kidnapped only to be found cuddling up with the neighbors. Ellie has a great talent for putting her head under your hand so it’s easy to pet her. She makes noises like a Star Wars character and is rarely seen without a smile.
