2010 was a good year for our fair city and its beautified, shopping-addicted citizens. A few stores shuttered—R.I.P., Kacky & Carl—but many more opened (shout-outs to Henderson Avenue and the ever-blooming Highland Park Village). Salons updated menus, eyelash bars set up shop, eco-centric ideas infiltrated both high-end shops and the wares of local designers, and craft fairs like the Handmade Bash and the Dallas Flea prospered. We call that a successful run.

Now to the countdown of our favorite moments from the year, as documented on ShopTalk.
