Where To Party in Dallas for Fat Tuesday 2010

No need to head to New Orleans. These local hot spots are bringing Mardi Gras to you.

Patio Grill
Throw on your beads and head to Patio Grill for drink and shot specials, DJ beats, and tasty grub such as mudbugs and shrimp gumbo. Party starts at 2 pm.


The Grapevine Bar
Beads and cheap booze is the theme of this party. Throw on your plastic necklaces and order a $2 well drink or $3 premium beverage. 3 pm.


Mardi RA Masquerade Party
RA’s throwing a big bash, with a dinner party and dance, DJ music, holiday-themed drinks, and sushi rolls. The fun kicks off at 7 pm.


Dick’s Last Resort
Dick’s bash begins with happy hour from 4-7 pm, with $2.75 hurricanes. Later, The 11th Hour band cranks out live music during an indoor parade and costume contest. The winner is awarded double his or her weight in dollars. Party starts at 4 pm; live music and parade begin at 8 pm.

Alligator Cafe

Alligator Cafe hosts a tent bash and crawfish boil with live music by the Hashbrown Band and singer Miss Marcy. Plus, free beads and a clown to keep the kiddos entertained.


Hotel Capri
Hotel Capri is bringin’ it: live fire girls, $2 shot specials, $4 beer and wine, half-price bottle service, and free champagne for the ladies until midnight. 9 pm.


Hurricane Grill
The Greenville Avenue hot spot is offering $4 hurricanes all day long. Live music by SylvinShine starts at 10 pm. Drink specials start at 11 am.


Duke’s (Addison, Bedford)
Both Duke’s locations are throwing a Fat Tuesday bash under huge heated tents, with beer, beignets, live music, and a crawfish-eating contest. Starts at 8 am.

Bourbon Street Meets BlackFinn Addison

BlackFinn is offering drink specials all day long, including $2 domestic drafts, $4 bombs, and $5 hurricanes. Also, free face painting and a complimentary buffet from 9-11 pm. Starts at 11 am.


Plush
Plush is celebrating Fat Tuesday with live music, exotic dancers, flame throwers, half-price bottles, and $3 hurricanes all night long. DJ Silver brings the beats. Bash time: 10 pm.


Vickery Park (Dallas, Plano)
Vickery Park is serving $4 hurricanes and a special Cajun menu, with gumbo, etouffe, red beans and rice, and po’ boys.


Sherlock’s
The Irish pub is celebrating with a shopping cart parade, a bead toss, $4.50 hurricanes, and live music by Big Daddy. 11 am-2 am.


Absinthe Lounge
Absinthe is serving good food, King cake, and drink specials: $2 drafts, $3 wells, $4 calls, and $5 martinis. DJ Chuck Gee is on the decks from 4 pm-2 am.


Fox & Hound
All locations are featuring DJ beats and $2 drafts all day.


Lotus
Best DJ in Dallas candidate DJ Avi is bringing the beats to Lotus for Fat Tuesday. Plus, $5 premium drink specials and $150 bottles. Starts at 9 pm.
