2009 Oscar Award-winning documentary, Smile Pinki, isn’t special just because it’s such an inspiring film–it’s special because the filmmaker, Megan Mylan, is a Dallas girl. The Highland Park High School grad will be in town for the screening of the movie, which is the story of two children in rural India with cleft palates and their journey to life-changing surgery.
