My inbox has seen a lot of exciting announcements recently about new and updated boutiques in Highland Park Village, but this one elicited an actual squeal of excitement (much to the dismay of my coworkers around me): Alice + Olivia has opened its first stand-alone store in Texas.

Dallasites have long been lucky to have access to Stacey Bendet’s flirty, sophisticated designs at department stores such as Neiman Marcus and Stanley Korshak, but the new 1,313-square-foot Alice + Olivia offers fans of the popular brand a more intimate shopping experience and will house A+O’s complete range of products, including collection, shoes, gowns, handbags, and accessories. “I love the energy and the beautiful women of Dallas,” says CEO and Creative Director Bendet. “Our vast offering from casual chic to formal will be the perfect compliment to the social calendar of this vibrant city.”

To help celebrate the new shop, Alice + Olivia has commissioned a series of pop-up installations by local Dallas artists. From Rebecca Carter’s Loosed Words covering the store’s subway tiled walls, to Letitia Huckaby’s sculptural gown installation, each three-month-long pop-up serves as a tribute to the region, while staying true to a+o’s fun, whimsical style.

Check out our slideshow for more images of the new boutique’s interior, and be sure to swing by the shop this Wednesday for a grand opening event from 6 – 8pm.
