Since the January announcement, the world has known that Lagerfeld was bringing his Métiers d’Art to Dallas. But until November 19, not one itty-bitty detail leaked out. It became a favorite cocktail guessing game of “Where is Métiers d’Art going to take place?”

Guesses included AT&T Stadium, Dallas Museum of Art, the Meyerson and Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. The reason for the mystery? Non-disclosure agreements. Any and everyone who interfaced with any of the Chanel team had to sign an NDA.

Breaking the agreement meant something worse than the guillotine.
