There are only a handful of personal style blogs that we follow and The Style Scribe is one of our absolute favorites! If you’re not already familiar with Merritt’s inspiring outfits and trend previews, you must check it out.

As you know, we’re really into the ponytail right now and Merritt’s effortless version feels free spirited and perfect for the busy holidays. And her velvet emerald skirt couldn’t be more perfect! Here we are excited to share Merritt’s amazing picks for the fall to winter holiday season.

Heels : My latest shoe acquisition (and obsession) are my new Isabel Marant Blackson boots (shown in picture) – buy them now at V.O.D.!

Dress/Skirt : I keep finding so many gems on ASOS.com – I’m currently coveting this check-print dress. So festive for the holidays, don’t you think?

Jacket/Coat : My new J.Crew coat  is divine – looks great over everything!

Hair : My hair never does anything I want it to, regardless of the hair products I use. A simple ponytail or just wearing it down suits me fine!

Face : The only beauty product that I can honestly say I put on everyday is La Mer’s moisturizing gel cream. It makes my face feel super smooth and hydrated throughout the day.

Sunglasses : Anything by Karen Walker – I keep stocking up on new pairs! The shapes are really cool and unique to what you usually see.

Accessories : Lots of gold jewelry to layer on – brings some sparkle to otherwise drab fall/winter outfits.

Absolute must for an evening : Essie’s new Holiday 2012 collection of nail polish – so many great shades for fabulous holiday parties!
