Look What We Found: Jolt “Jeggings” at Nordstrom for Just $39

I actually found these oh-so-perfect skinny jeans (or “jeggings”” as Jolt calls them) a while back but I wear them so often that I decided I needed another pair. So I headed over to Nordstrom on Saturday and went straight to the Brass Plum department where I had initially found them. And there they were, in all their jegging glory. Only now they also had them in black. I was thrilled — and practically ran to the counter to pay. But let me back up a bit and tell you why I am so in love with these jeans. First of all, they only cost $39! Great start, right? Second, they’re tight all the way down the leg. I have a few other pairs of so-called skinny jeans but they are all a bit loose from thigh to ankle so they just don’t look right tucked into a pair of boots. Jolt jeggings are super stretchy and unlike leggings, they don’t get baggy in the knee or stretch out. (I know this because I swear I’ve worn mine at least twice a week since I got them a couple of months ago and they’re still as form-fitting as ever – and they’ve made it through the wash a few times too!). Third, the waist is just high enough to hold my gut in (yea, I’ll admit it) but not so high that I feel like I’m in the eighties. They’re also low enough that they still look modern. Fourth, they’re not too long. Being 5’3″ usually means I need to get my jeans hemmed but not these. They are actually just long enough to bunch a bit at the ankle (which I like). However, if you’re taller than me, they will look equally as cute because you will be able to rock them not only with boots but with flats, for that classic Audrey Hepburn look. Need I say more? You MUST get a pair — or two, like me.
