When the economy sucks, non-profit groups really suffer as you can imagine. Fortunately, we live in a place where groups band together to help each other out. (Well, at least, sometimes.) So thank you, Exhale Spa, for using your spa treatments to raise funds for the very deserving Dress for Success group (who dresses disadvantaged women, so they can get jobs). In this effort’s honor, Exhale Spa at the Hotel Palomar is offering a fun event, Relax. Unwind. Exhale., where guests can choose a massage, facial, mani, pedi, or all the above, and proceeds from the purchases will be donated to Dress for Success. Not a do-gooder? We’re not judging, but here’s the upside for YOU: all therapies are discounted. Plus, free wine and hors d’oevres will be served. Says Dress for Success’ executive director: “These are all treatments that most of us pay for on a regular basis. Why not get them during a night of fun at a fabulous facility, with the added bonus of supporting women that need our help?” Couldn’t say it better myself.
